Whispers of His Power – FEBRUARY 16

Whispers of His Power – FEBRUARY 16

Gen. 41.32: And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.

Ps. 40.17: But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me.

When a word from the Lord comes to us twice about the same time, it is for some special purpose.  It helps and challenges us.  What makes the help so vital is the belief that it did not just ‘happen’, but was planned by our tender Lord, who knows all about us.  It is very wonderful, and very comforting, to know that He who has so much to think of is actually thinking upon me.

Let us look out for the words which will be ‘doubled twice’ for us, perhaps today. If we listen we shall hear, and He whom we love will put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it (and hear it) and fear, and shall trust in the Lord (Ps. 40.3).

oooOOOooo
