Whispers of His Power – FEBRUARY 23
Gen. 50.21 (margin): And he comforted them, and spake to their hearts.
Joseph spoke kindly to his brothers; he spoke to their hearts.
Everyone has a chance to do this. If something upsetting happens, don’t let it upset. But if it has, ‘speak to the heart’ of the one who is causing the upset. Find the heart under the outside upset part, and speak to it. A tired heart confuses the mind, and so also the outlook on life.
Even in the most difficult days it is not hard to find the heart of a fellow-lover of our Lord Jesus. Find it, and then, taking as little notice as possible of the outside, speak to the heart.
oooOOOooo
