Whispers of His Power – MARCH 8

Whispers of His Power –  MARCH 8

Exod. 32.34:  Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto thee: behold, Mine Angel shall go before thee.

These words are taken from the story of Israel’s sin.  I am glad that we may take part of a verse and use it.  The New Testament writers did this when they quoted the Old, and our Lord did it too.  These words from verse 34 have something very strengthening and comforting for us, as we try to help others to find the way Home.

We don’t go out alone into any endeavour.  As we talk with anyone, anywhere, One whom we do not see but who is truly there goes before us.  His Presence guides our poor endeavours, and makes the little that we do effective, though perhaps we do not see that it is so.

Thank God for the Angel of His Presence who goes before us today.

oooOOOooo
