Whispers of His Power –  MARCH 27

Gal. 2.20:  1am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave Himself for me.

During the war, the Victoria Cross was awarded to Lt. Jackman posthumously.  ‘He was killed while still inspiring everyone with the greatest confidence by his bearing.’  

May it be so with us.  Let us die while still inspiring everybody.  Make us inspirers of others to the very end. 

If we are to be that, we must first be inspired ourselves.  Galatians 2.20 tells us how, but only the Spirit of God can open to us the meaning of these words.  Let us read them over in His Presence, giving Him time to cause them to speak to us in the depths of our hearts.
