Children are made in the image of God from before their birth and should be cherished. listened to, and encouraged to grow in church without fear of neglect or abuse
We cannot build a community of love and forgiveness wherein we tend each others wounds and carry each others frailties and carry grudges at the same time.
Sometimes, because we have a truth to tell, we become over eager to share it and so cannot receive the truth others bring to us. At all times in all situations it is wise to ‘Always Listen First’
Some Church meetings require us to listen more deeply (and for longer) than others. Not everyone will find themselves called to sit on Synods and Assemblies but all of use have a responsibility to understand their business and pray for their work
It may seem that the work of the Gospel may only go forward with the presence of a plethora of meetings.
Just because they are necessary it doesn’t mean that they have to be evil
