Whispers of His Power – MARCH 26
A lover of our Lord was asked which of all His words she would most wish to hear Him say to her. She answered: ‘Ye are they which have continued with Me in My temptations.’

A name, place, person, or something seen or heard or read flashes for one second across the mind. It can be lost or turned to prayer; the choice is with us.
…the way we must look on the sins and weaknesses of others, not condoning (Moses did not condone), but with eyes of uttermost love.
it is not strange that tempers should be uncertain when appetites are undisciplined.
Are we faithful in our tithes? Are we loving in our offerings?
All powers, all possessions are His. Why should He want anything that we can give?
What do falls matter if the Lord is holding us up?
Is there one for whom we are praying, who seems to be unhelped by our prayer? Are we suffering the bitterness of disappointment? Our dear Lord has been this way before us.
‘there is not enough darkness in all the world to put out the light of one little glow-worm’.
He said not: Thou shalt not be tempested, thou shalt not be travailed, thou shalt not be distressed; but He said: Thou shalt not be overcome.’
