The power of darkness crucified the Lord of glory.  But Love won on Calvary.

To talk about one’s temptations is to emphasize them.

Therefore let us stay our imagination on Him and refuse to let it wander off into unknown tomorrows.

 If something upsetting happens, don’t let it upset. 

Even when we feel we have failed, God writes Not in vain over everything we have tried to do in His Name.

Faith is trusting when nothing is explained. 

If our Lord does not despair of us, we must not despair of ourselves. 

He will not despair even of us – even of me.

‘Lord, this I wish to be, this I desire,
and what Thou seest wanting in me, do Thou,
I beseech Thee, vouchsafe to supply’

Is all holy in my heart?  Is all that issues forth in words and in deeds stamped with the hallmark of holiness?
