Whispers of His Power – JULY 11

Whispers of His Power – JULY 11

2 Cor. 8.12:  If there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man hath, and not according to that he hath not.

In Sir William Bragg’s World of Sound he writes of our English scale of music, with its twelve intervals.  We know what great music has been made from this scale.  The old Gaelic scale had fewer notes, and yet music has been made out of it too. ‘Auld Lang Syne’ is written in this scale.  It can be played on the black keys alone.

Some of us have twelve notes to offer to God.  Thank God for them.  What hast thou that thou didst not receive? (1 Cor. 4.7). Offer them all, and God will play His great music through your life.

Some of us have only five notes to offer.  Don’t let us be discouraged.  God can make eternal music out of only five notes.

oooOOOooo
