But duty, more than crown or palm,

The duties of home are a discipline for the ministries of heaven.
THE performance of a duty is never a useless office,
never be ashamed of doing right;
Do not look at life’s long sorrow,
See how small each moment’s pain;
God will help thee for to-morrow,
So each day begin again.
new beginnings are the life of perseverance.
YOU have a disagreeable duty to do at twelve o’clock.
Do not blacken nine and ten and all between with the colour of twelve.
EVERY day ought to be begun as a serious work, standing alone in itself
