The Joy of the Lord is my strength! Yet sometimes I an worn and weary and find outward ‘joy’ to be a mere façade. Being honest and open with ourselves and others will lead to a more lasting eternal joy, but dare we tell of our pain inside?
Why is it that almost every good hearted human venture is stalked by cynicism? Sometimes I don’t think we want things to change. But God doesn’t give up on us and offers us a chance to do things differently.
As we grow we come to know that loneliness is part and parcel of life. We can use loneliness to feed the darkest parts of our life and become even lonelier or we can use it to run into the arms of our Beloved.

Is the Bible the ‘inerrant word of God’? Or is Jesus the Word of God who is the way we are to follow on which the light of the Bible shines?
If we are to welcome God in others it will require more than a cup of cold water. It is only as we give ourselves away that we stand any chance of finding the grace to love not only the needy but our enemies as well
It always amazes me that people believe in angels but are less certain in their belief of the God whose messengers they are. Seeing with angel sight may help correct this.
On those days when your desk is covered in junk mail and you inbox is full of spam try to put all those words down and pick up The Word instead.
