Children are made in the image of God from before their birth and should be cherished. listened to, and encouraged to grow in church without fear of neglect or abuse
We cannot build a community of love and forgiveness wherein we tend each others wounds and carry each others frailties and carry grudges at the same time.

Sometimes, because we have a truth to tell, we become over eager to share it and so cannot receive the truth others bring to us. At all times in all situations it is wise to ‘Always Listen First’
Some Church meetings require us to listen more deeply (and for longer) than others. Not everyone will find themselves called to sit on Synods and Assemblies but all of use have a responsibility to understand their business and pray for their work

Words are at the same time beautiful and ugly, creative and destructive and we must be careful how we use them. But how do we decided when to speak and when to be silent?
All of us desire our times of worship to be deep and intimate times of fellowship with God and each other yet we easily allow ourselves to get in the way of our own prayer.
We try to hide the fact that we are all a little bit broken but God has a way of finding us out and then it is only in the Church that we can find healing.
