‘Wisdom comes with age’ they say. However it is not something we pick up with a pension cheque but something that grows as we lay the foundation for ‘then’ in the ‘now’.

In our pilgrimage we often rush from one task to the next without always listening to the whisperings of God inbetween. Obedience is as important as fiathfulness
The call to ‘live adventurously’ is at the heart of our incarnate faith. We are not called only to worship God in our churches but also serve God in the lives of those around us
In this time when may cannot go to church to worship it is helpful to remember that faith has always blossomed in the home.
May couples live together in happy marriages or partnerships but it is not too many seem to be happily divorced. If our relationships founder we must not be too proud to seek help

As a parent I needed more help from the church than bible verse on discipline. How do we become a church where we cherish even the youngest members of the Body of Christ?
Marriage is hard work. Yet, its benefits enrich the whole community so the church must nurture and cherish all those who have chosen to give themselves away to each other in a covenant love
Personal faith is normative and intimate and so powerful that if we are not careful we reject the experience of faith of others and so make God in our own image.
In a time of distress and worry for all the message of freedom from the fear of death and a decision to ‘choose love’ must become the heartbeat of our lives
