…It means not only truth and kindness but an all-round ‘opulence of unselfishness’, doing as much as one can to help others (not as little as we can get away with). 

We were never allured to the Lord’s side by a promise of the easy.  We never shall be.

Can’t we trust our Father if He says No, or Wait?

Sometimes, when asked to do something we do not want to do, instead of gladness there is gloom.  How that must hurt Him,

Nothing is going wrong however wrong it seems.  All, all is well.

We have not to go all the way to the generating station to get light.  The light, like the word of our God, is not hidden from us, neither is it far off. 

Do you love enough to give

His presence will go with us throughout this day.

Two things stand like stone:
Kindness in another’s trouble,
Courage in your own.

The one vital thing is to let Him choose, and not allow the ‘I’ in us a chance to say anything about it.
