Whispers of His Power – APRIL 5

1 Tim. 1.16:  For this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on Him to life everlasting.

Have you ever noticed the words, ‘His longsuffering for a pattern’?  The longsuffering was for the difficult soul of Paul.  So during those years when Paul was going his own way the Lord Jesus was noticing everything, feeling everything, suffering everything – always with one end in view.  That longsuffering was ‘for a pattern’ for us who also have to bear long with difficult souls.

oooOOOooo
