He will not lose hope about us. 

He who carries you, carries your-bundle too.

What would be the point of an obstacle race if there were no obstacles?  It would be foolish to say, ‘Couldn’t you clear these obstacles off the field, and make the race nice and easy?’

And yet that is exactly what we often ask God to do for us.  ‘Please make it a bit easier, it’s too hard for me’.

‘Faith reaches forth to that which it does not grasp’. 

To think of nice things one can’t have is to become discontented and grumpy. 

…we must obey the directions given to all who are tempted.

We live too hurried lives, sometimes;  talk too much;  think too little. 

Did you ever think of life as a piece of soap?  Every day, hour, minute it is giving you something of itself.

Let us ask that our eyes may be opened to see the poor man in the city. 

Let us serve Him by serving others, however humbly, today.
