Whispers of His Power – MAY 27
Phil. 2.13: It is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.
Jacob Boehme, who was born in 1575, wrote, ‘Hold Thou Thy Grace in love in Jesus Christ over me, and give me a happy spirit in which to work Thy wonders. Let Thy holy angel rule me all my life long, and be in me my willing, my working, and my fulfilling.’
There are times when we get to the end of our own willing. What utter rest and joy it is, then, to count upon this word in Philippians 2.13, and to pray as Jacob Boehme did so long ago, Be in me my willing, my working and my fulfilling.
oooOOOooo
