Whispers of His Power – JULY 23

1 Tim. 1.11 (RV):  According to the gospel of the glory of the blessed God.

Rotherham gives us a lovely version of this verse:  According to the glad message of the glory of the happy God.

Can we ever thank Him enough for the Spirit of happiness, which comes from the happy God?  Often sorrowful psalms are followed by joyful ones.  Even sorrowful verses are often followed by glad ones, as in Psalm 102.11-12: My days are like a shadow that declineth;  and I am withered like grass.  BUT THOU, O Lord, shalt endure for ever; and Thy remembrance unto all generations.

So let us rejoice today in the glad message of the glory of the Happy God.
