Whispers of His Power – OCTOBER 11

Whispers of His Power – OCTOBER 11

1 Chron. 28.9:  Know thou the God of thy father, and serve Him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts:  if thou seek Him, He will be found of thee.

Serve Him with a willing mind. That means, Do not long for what is not given.  Trust Me.  Look on.  Press on.  Serve Me with a willing mind.

The word is a call to faith and to obedience.  We are called to serve with a willing mind just where we are, and just as things are.  We may not be able to see the meaning of anything, or to catch the least glimpse of the gladness on before.  Don’t let us disappoint our God.  He trusts us to trust.  He loves the offering of a willing mind.

The Lord searches our hearts, and knows all our imaginations, all our thoughts.  If we seek Him, He will reveal Himself to us in all His love and beauty.

oooOOOooo
