The Lord is our Confidence?  Shall we say it to our own hearts when they are tempted to fear

Look, and as you look a change will pass over you.  You will see that what previously looked impossible is really the only possible thing for a follower of the Crucified to do. 

Let us ask our God to put an everlasting Amen to His Will down in the bottom of our souls.  And let us ask Him to keep it there.

Can we say what David’s servants said to their king in 2 Samuel 15.15?  Behold, thy servants are ready to do whatsoever my lord the king shall choose.

Sometimes even Christians write of death in a sad way.  We regret to announce’, they say.  The Salvation Army are right in the way they put it, ‘Promoted to Glory’.
