Mark’s Gospel can be frustrating as it seems ‘empty’ of any key teaching by Jesus. But it is out of the emptiness that a multitude is fed.
Often we hinder the growth of God’s reign and become the fruitless faithful inhabiting dustbowl churches. How can we grow good?
Sometimes it helps to see ourselves through the eyes of God who loves us ‘Come What May’
God comes to us with ‘Love and Redemption’ and not ‘Crime and Punishment’. Learning this sets us free from sin and for joyful service.
It is tempting to strike out on our own on the journey home and leave the Church to its ow mess. But we never find out who we are without other Christians holding up a mirror to our soul
When God calls us to follow The Impossible Dream the one thing that stands in our way is often ourselves and our failure to believe that we can be loved perfectly.
We have God given gifts of passion and desire which can bring much joy to the world. How do we cope when we find ourselves running to do the evil we do not want to do?
