Whispers of His Power – JUNE 11

Whispers of His Power – JUNE 11

Eph. 4.1:   I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord…

Phil. 4.13 (Rotherham):  I have might for all things in Him that empowereth me.

After the heights come the plains, in the Bible and in our everyday life.  The glory and the wonder of the last verses of Ephesians 3 (the love of Christ, the fullness of God, Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think), are followed by I… the prisoner of the Lord.

There are strange limitations sometimes in our work itself.  Sometimes we ourselves experience frustrations, inabilities, and chains known perhaps only to Him who knows all.

Paul opens the way of peace here, as he always does.  It is acceptance.  That crosses out all ‘ineffective unwillingness’ and then all fret passes.  There is peace.

oooOOOooo
