Whispers of His Power – JUNE 10

Whispers of His Power – JUNE 10

John 14.27:  Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you.

The peace of Jesus stood every sort of test, every strain, and it never broke.  It is this, His very own peace, which He says I give.  Do we take time to receive?  A moment may be enough, but sometimes we need longer than that.

An alternative reading of 1 Corinthians 15.49 has a challenge for us. See RV margin and Rotherham: Even as we have borne the image of the man of earth, let us also bear the image of the man of heaven.

What would He feel about this that fills our mind?  What would He say?  What would He do?  My peace I give unto you.  If we receive that peace we shall know the answer to these questions, and then by His touch upon us we shall bear the image of the man of heaven.

oooOOOooo
