Whispers of His Power – JULY 18

Whispers of His Power – JULY 18

Ps. 109.20 (BCP):  Deal Thou with me, O Lord God, according unto Thy Name;  for sweet is Thy mercy.

The Psalms give us many brief telegram prayers, and here is another we can use today.  Deal Thou with me according unto Thy Name.

We can use it, too, for all in need, and especially for the ill.

Deal Thou with them, O God the Lord,

Deal Thou with them;

According to Thy Name of Love,

Deal Thou with them.

The floods that else would overflow,

Rebuke and stem.

Sweet is Thy mercy, God the Lord,

And we have proved

That mercy sweet. O God of Love,

Thy well-beloved

Are ill and need Thee. Deal with them,

Thine own beloved.

oooOOOooo
