Whispers of His Power – AUGUST 20

Whispers of His Power – AUGUST 20

Ps. 33.20 (Kay):  Our soul waits on for the Lord.

Is it not comforting and strengthening to faith to take hold of these words? Our soul waits on for the Lord. Kay’s note is: ‘Man’s reliance on God being the only – but all-prevailing – claim he has on God’s help.’

The Lord is our help and our shield, just as He was David’s.  If only we wait on, in unshaken trust, our heart shall rejoice in Him, because we have trusted in His holy name (v. 21).

oooOOOooo
