Whispers of His Power – SEPTEMBER 14

Jer. 15.16:  Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and Thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart:  for I am called by Thy name, O Lord God of hosts.

This nice little nursery rhyme says something important.  If we hastily read God’s word, without taking the time or trouble to absorb it, we do not gain much.  But if we take it into ourselves (Thy word was found and I did eat it, then it becomes part of us.  It turns into Miss T:

Let us take some words of His today, perhaps some simple well-known word, and do just what Miss T. did with what was on her plate.
