Whispers of His Power – SEPTEMBER 26

Luke 15.6:  And when He cometh home, He calleth together His friends and neighbours, saying unto them,  Rejoice with Me;  for I have found My sheep which was lost.

When a lost sheep is found, is it not wonderful to be allowed to share in the home joy of the heavenly people?  It is as though our wonderful Saviour said:  ‘It is not enough unless you all share it too – you, My dear people on earth.  So the joy of heaven overflows upon us, like water from a brimming pool into which more water is continually falling.

There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth (Luke 15.7) – and we share that joy too.
