Whispers of His Power – SEPTEMBER 27

Luke 19.17:  And He said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.

We can do so little that the only words that describe what we do are just these words: a very little.  But the Master was pleased with His servant because he had been faithful in a very little.

The words are very searching too.  Am I faithful as that servant was?  He did not use five pounds for his Master and five pounds for himself, nor nine pounds for his Master and one pound for himself.  Not even the smallest fraction of that ten pounds was held back.  All was given to his Master.

Am I faithful like that?
