‘there is not enough darkness in all the world to put out the light of one little glow-worm’.
The power of Hannah, Mary, Vicky, and even me should not be only about foot-stamping and fist-clenching. This power is a power that is manifested through the renunciation of power. Strength, as we learnt yesterday, being made perfect through weakness.
….mostly, when I sit tending the scratches on my ego after yet another encounter in the briar patch of my life, I realise that I am the only one who can do anything about this.
He said not: Thou shalt not be tempested, thou shalt not be travailed, thou shalt not be distressed; but He said: Thou shalt not be overcome.’
There is a wonderful word even in this sad book. He hath made everything beautiful… He hath set eternity in their heart – the heart of all beautiful things.
Let Your blood cover me
Wash me white and set me free

The Lord help us to give Him the joy that our children give to us when they loyally and lovingly keep our words.
Is it true that we, particularly if we are one of the Abrahamic Faiths committed to Shalom, Salaam, Peace are the reason for so much mayhem, murder and massacre?
God’s love is very brave. He trusts us not to look back and wonder about things, or wonder about present things either, or fear for future things.
